My 1st fill!
I had my first fill today! Just about 2 hours ago I was laying on the table. I was nervous at first and when she told me the numbing injection would burn I was even more nervous. So I laid there with my eyes closed and my teeth clinched. I felt a little ***** and nothing. She asked me if I was ok and I just say "yeah". It didn't really burn at all! And then she got the needle for the adjustment. I didn't look at it until after we were done. But I didn't even feel it go in. And she had me sit up and drink a cup of water. No problems with that either! So I now have another 1.6cc on top of the 4cc I had at time of surgery. 5.6cc.... wow. I've been on a stall for about 2 weeks so I'm hoping this will jump start me again.

Congrats!!!! WOW.. you have 5.6cc's.. I've had my second fill and I'm only up to 4cc's. It is just fastinating to me how we are all so different!
I'm glad it didn't hurt, I was numbed on the first attempt, but then the next two times when I actually got fills I didn't have the numbing shot first and it still was not bad at all!
I'm so excited for you. I am like you and hoping that my latest fill will get me past my stall.

We also have different brand bands. Did you start out with an empty band? They told me that alot do. Depending on how the band fits will determine if they put any in at surgery. He gave me 4cc. I actually didn't even know I had any!!!! I just found that out today when she told me how much I had in there now. So I'm on liquids for 48 hours..... and I feel SOOOOOO hungry. I hope I don't get to grouchy.... lol my boyfriend has to put up with enough already.

See you done just fine. Phil and I will get our fill's on Thursday this week and we haven't had one since the 1st of Feb. So we can realte for sure. The next 48 hours will go really quick, so just hang in there. We have been missing you on here, haven't seen you much at all. Are you going to be at the support group meeting on the 14th?

Hey Cheryl! Sorry I haven't been around as much. I can only get online at work cause I don't have a computer at home at the moment. And work has been a little crazy lately. But I try to pop in here once in a while. I don't know if I can make the support group meeting. I wor****il 6 everyday. And unless I can find someone to swap hours with me that day I won't make it. I definitely am going to try to make the next Dinner Club. Remember the guy I brought with me to IHOP in March? Well we are together now... after him chasing me since last December. HAHA! He took good care of me after surgery and has been there for me every step of the way.

Ok, I was just checking on ya. I changed the Dinner Club this month to the 23rd and it is going to be at 2:00 at Red Robin in Mt Juliet. I sure hope you can make it. I remember the guy he was a hoot. I am so glad that you have him and that he is treating you the way that you should be treated. I can tell that he really cares about you, my vote is to hang on to him...........lol
